 Choose a radio station and outline: The radio station I am going to be talking about is BBC Radio 1. BBC radio 1 is owned and ran by the conglomerate company BBC and was founded on the 30th OF September 1967 it specialises in modern popular music and current chart hits throughout the day, it is also a national radio station which means it is broadcasted to all areas of the UK instead of just being broadcasted to a specific part of the UK and this is also an advantage as it allows for a wider target audience and more listeners, however the down side to this is they have to play a mix of everything to make it suitable for all listeners. A radio station can broadcast a wide range of programmes. They could be  broadcastig  a talk show or music portion on the radio station, which is what most radios have. This is where people, such as the host or another guest on the show, discuss a variety of issues, which could include anything from politics to music quizzes. Many radio stations also feature a part where listeners can call in and take a quiz or recite a word for a chance to win a reward. They could also call simply to talk about anything they've done or observed.
