This means that they are only available in one country and can be broadcasted all around that country. They can be controlled by the government or be independent from the government and be controlled by a government, such as Classic FM. These radio stations were created when the Broadcasting Act was passed in 1990 which allowed Independent radio stations to be launched nationally.
